This extension to the rear was on sloping ground overlooking residences below. The design was hipped to reduce the mass of the roof and various factors had to be incorporated to please the local residents and planners. The vaulted ceiling created a fantastic feel to this kitchen with stunning sea views.

A new build annex which required substantial negotiations with the council for approval resulted in a fantastic vaulted ceiling single storey residence for elderly residence.

This existing converted bungalow to a chalet required a large rear extension involving design and support of the existing roof structure. Ceiling heigh was always limited and the front two dormers were amalgamated to increase head room. The existing bathroom was to remain untouched so the design included a recess to the new roof to allow this.

Originally a particularly cramped first floor to this chalet bungalow has been transformed by addition of barn end walls and a new higher pitched roof. A major overhaul of the whole property produced a high quality residence.

A rear extension to this bungalow involved the use of a portal frame steel structure to support the rear roof creating a large lounge and kitchen. The structure will also support a future loft conversion.
